Ueno is one of Tokyo’s most culturally rich neighbourhoods, with the National Museum, the cherry blossom park, Ameyoko Market, and a gateway to Asakusa. From Narita, the Keisei Skyliner reaches Ueno in 41 minutes.
Ueno Station is a major interchange on the Yamanote Line and the terminus of the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport. Staying in or near Ueno puts you within walking distance of Sakusa and the National Museum and provides easy access to both northern and southern Tokyo. The Skyliner makes it one of the fastest Narita connections in the city.

- Cost: 2,570 yen. Book at the Keisei counter in arrivals or at the ticket machine.
- JR Pass: Not covered. Keisei is a private railway.

The local Keisei line stops at every station but reaches the same destination for less than half the Skyliner price. Good for budget-conscious travellers without connecting Shinkansen departures.
Option 3: Narita Express (N’EX) to Ueno

From Keisei Ueno to JR Ueno
Keisei Ueno Station and JR Ueno Station are a 2-minute walk apart. Exits from Keisei Ueno lead directly to the JR station entrance. From JR Ueno, the Yamanote Line reaches Akihabara in 3 minutes, Tokyo Station in 8 minutes, and Shibuya in 28 minutes.
