- Step 1: At Gimpo Airport arrivals, follow the signs to Line 9 (the gold line). The Line 9 platform is in the basement of the Domestic Terminal subway station.
- Step 2: Board the Line 9 Express (급행, geuphaeng) toward Bongeunsa. Express trains are marked on the platform display and skip multiple stops. If you board a local train (완행), it will take about 55 minutes instead.
- Step 3: Ride to Sinnonhyeon Station (신논현). About 35 minutes on the express. This is the main Gangnam interchange for Lines 9 and 7.
- Step 4: Exit at Sinnonhyeon, and you are in central Gangnam. The Garosu-gil tree-lined fashion street, the COEX Mall, and the main hotel cluster are all accessible from here.
