More than 20 coach bus routes run directly from Incheon Airport to Seoul’s major neighbourhoods. Here is which route covers your area, where to board, and what the journey is like.
The Airport Limousine Bus is one of two main ways to get from Incheon International Airport to central Seoul, alongside the AREX train. For many travellers, it is the better option: buses run directly to specific Seoul neighbourhoods, luggage goes in a hold beneath the coach, and you arrive close to your hotel without having to navigate the subway with bags.
Quick answer: Find your Seoul area in the route list below, buy a ticket at the orange counter in arrivals (Level 1), board at the numbered bay outside, and sit back. Cost around 10,000 to 17,000 won. Journey time 60 to 90 minutes in normal traffic.
How the Limousine Bus Works
Tickets are sold at orange-coloured Airport Limousine counters in the arrivals hall on Level 1 at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You can also buy at automated machines using a credit card. Each route has a fixed fare regardless of how many stops you ride.
Buses depart from numbered bays outside the arrivals hall. The ticket shows your bay number. Buses run every 15 to 40 minutes, depending on the route. Luggage goes in the hold underneath the coach. Seats are comfortable, and most buses have USB charging ports.
Traffic warning: The limousine bus is subject to Seoul’s road traffic. During peak hours (7 to 9am and 5 to 8 pm) and on weekend afternoons, journey times can range from 90 to 120 minutes or more, particularly when crossing the Han River. Myeongdong and City Hall Area
Route 6015: Incheon to Myeongdong, Namdaemun. Around 10,000 won. 70 to 90 minutes.
Hongdae and Sinchon

Route 6001: Incheon to Gangnam Station, Yangjae. Around 17,000 won. 80 to 100 minutes.
Route 6006: Incheon to COEX, Samsung Station. Around 17,000 won—80 to 100 minutes.
Route 6008: Incheon to Gangnam ASEM Tower, Yeoksam. Around 17,000 won—75 to 90 minutes.
Itaewon and Yongsan
Route 6020: Incheon to Itaewon, Yongsan Station. Around 10,000 won. 70 to 90 minutes.
Jamsil and Lotte World
Route 6006 / 6008: Covers Samsung and Jamsil areas. Around 17,000 won.
Insadong and Jongno

Terminal 1 vs Terminal 2

Buying Tickets
- At the counter: Orange Airport Limousine counters in Level 1 arrivals at both terminals. Staff speak basic English. Show your destination, and they will confirm the correct route.
- At the machine: Automated ticket machines accept credit and debit cards. Select destination from the English-language interface.
