Bus 100 (Airport Bus, orange) and Bus 500 run from directly in front of the Jeju Airport arrivals hall into Jeju City center, stopping at the main bus terminal and key city center points. Approximately 30 minutes to central Jeju City. Cost: 1,500 won with a T-money card. Buses run every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the day. This is the cheapest option and perfectly adequate for those not planning to rent a car immediately.
Taxi
Taxis are available from the taxi rank directly outside arrivals. Approximately 15 minutes to central Jeju City. Cost: approximately 8,000-10,000 won. Rental Car (recommended for most visitors)
Renting a car at Jeju Airport is the standard and strongly recommended approach for most Jeju itineraries. The island’s main attractions are spread widely, and public transport between them is limited and slow. Car rental desks from all major Korean rental companies (Lotte, SK, Jeju Car) are in the arrivals hall. Prices start from approximately 40,000 to 60,000 won per day for a small car. An international driving permit is required for foreign visitors. Book in advance for the peak summer season (July to August) and Korean holidays.
To Jeju City Center: Key Destinations
Jeju City center is compact, and most city-center accommodation is within 15 to 30 minutes of the airport by any mode of transport.
