1. Valid Passport

2. Completed Visa Application Form

3. Passport-Size Photo

4. Bank Statements
Typically, 3 to 6 months of personal bank statements showing a consistent balance sufficient to fund the trip. The general expectation is around 100,000 won per day of stay in readily available funds. Statements should be original or certified copies, stamped by the bank. 5. Proof of Employment or Study
Employment certificate from your employer on company letterhead, stating your position, salary, and approved leave dates. Students should provide an enrollment certificate and a letter from the institution. Self-employed applicants should provide business registration documents and tax returns.
6. Flight Itinerary
A round-trip flight booking or itinerary (does not need to be a paid ticket; in most cases, a booking reservation is usually sufficient). Shows you have a confirmed plan to leave Korea.
7. Accommodation Booking
Hotel booking confirmation, Airbnb confirmation, or a letter of invitation from a Korean host. Covers at least the first night of your stay.
Additional Documents (May Be Required)
- Tax return or income certificate: Required by some embassies, especially for self-employed applicants.
- Property documents: Evidence of property ownership in your home country strengthens the application by demonstrating ties that encourage return.
- Marriage certificate: If travelling with a spouse, both partners’ documents may be requested.
