South Korea does not have a visa-free arrangement with Vietnam. Vietnamese passport holders must apply for a South Korean visa before travelling. The application is processed at the Korean Embassy in Hanoi, the Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, or through the Korean Visa Application Center.
Note on K-ETA: The K-ETA for Vietnamese citizens is currently active and required separately from the regular visa.
